2011 Begins

Hello All, hope everyone is surving the winter and starting to get ready for the 2011 season. This is just a quick reminder that for those that are returning, we will be cashing your Cheques on Tuesday Feb 1, 2011.

Also the Board is looking for charity(s) to support for 2011 and again are looking to you our members for suggestions. Please forward these to myself along with a short note as to why you feel we should lend our support. We would love to help everyone but we only have so much to spread around.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the opening Stag at the Legion on April 26th.

Hello everyone. It is unfortunate to announce that one of our own Dan Cranmner's dear mother has passed away.

Dan, all the lads send our deepest sympathies at this difficult time.

We have a Winner!!!!

Finally after 2 months the winning ticket for the Saturday 50/50 draw at our mid season tournament has been revealed. Criag Bujarsky of the Door Dudes had the winning ticket and his fearless captain Dale Latendresse collected the $155 prize last night. Hopefully he gives it to Craig!!!!!!

ROCK N' ROLL WITH VINYL 95.3 AND Y108 AT BOSL CARPENTER HOSPICE GOLF TOURNAMENT

Hello everyone, well the tournament just keeps rolling and rolling and now we are ROCK AND ROLLING!!! Y108 AND VINYL93 will be on site at our Tournament Saturday Aug 14th from 11:30 until 1:30 providing audio entertainment as well as various prize draws for everyone.


Also, by popular demand we have made arrangements for those NON - GOLFERS that would like to participate in the success of the event to join us for the PRIME RIB BUFFET DINNER only at a cost of $40.00 per ticket. Just contact Wayne McSpadden at wmcspadden@rogers.com to arrange for your reservation.



We have tons of prizes and gifts available and still have room for golfers but time is running out. We would like to get at least 100 - 120 golfers so lets all step up and make this event successful in raising lots of $$$ for Carpenter Hospice.

Breaking News for the BOSL Carpenter Hospice Golf Tournament Ready Set Play with a real Toronto Maple Leaf

Great News!!!!!! We have confirmed that Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni, Jim (Howie) McKenny, Lou Franceschetti and Mike Krushelnyski will be participating in our golf tournament on Saturday August 14th.

Win a chance to have Jim McKenny, Lou Franceschetti or Mike Krushelnyski play with your foursome. A draw will be held prior to the tournament from all confirmed entries received by Wayne McSpadden no later than August 1, 2010. The winners will get the opportunity to learn from the pros and hear some remarkable stories (remarkable as the Leafs winning the Cup!!!!!)

Also, through the generosity of Todd Parker and his company Monessen Hearth Systems Canada we have a Stainless Steel 4 Burner Vermont Castings BBQ valued at $1700.00 to raffle for the Golf Tournament and Carpenter Hospice. Tickets will be available from your captains and Board members. The cost is only $5.00 per ticket and the draw will be held at the golf tournament on Saturday August 14, 2010. For you none golfers, you do not have to be present to win.

Other prizes available in our silent auction and other events that day include Hamilton Tiger Cat tickets, a pair of Gold Tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs home game, a round of golf for 3 at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club (previous host of the RBC Canadian Open) with and courtesy of Rick Chittley-Young from BDO, an autographed Leafs Jersey, sticks........... and much much more.

BOSL Equipment change Effective June 1, 2010

Hello all, the BOSL Board of Directors, respecting the wishes of the players in the league have voted to immediately revert back to the ball we used last year (44 core) to be effective on Tuesday, June 1.

It has been noticed that the new ball while it was ok in the spring games is now turning to mush in the warmer weather.
