Hello all, the BOSL Board of Directors, respecting the wishes of the players in the league have voted to immediately revert back to the ball we used last year (44 core) to be effective on Tuesday, June 1.
It has been noticed that the new ball while it was ok in the spring games is now turning to mush in the warmer weather.

Community Living Oakville Golf Tournament
Hello everyone! Lino Fera from Deeth & Co. team is the chairperson of this years CLO Golf Tournament. He has asked us to let everyone know about the tournament in case anyone wants to particpate and support him in his efforts. The tournament is on Tuesday June 15th, 2010 and is a shotgun start. Cost is $190 per player.

BOSL Social Update #2
Hello Everyone. Well we all should now have our first real game of the season under our belts and the aches and pains are starting. Mother Nature was kind to us for our first set of games, let's hope she stays friendly.
On a serious note, many of our teams\players like to celebrate their victories or drown their sorrows at various watering holes after the games (mainly QB's) but we really need to be careful of how much we celebrate. Our dear friends in Blue are out in full force with RIDE programs and last night they were in the area of QB's. While we do not want to rain on anyone's parade, we do want all of our players, fans and others to be safe and respect the laws of the land and please don't Drink and Drive. When in doubt call a cab or go with a friend. We did have players pulled over last night and thankfully they were within the limits.
Also, look out for flyers and posters for our BOSL MaryJaneWright Memorial Golf Tournament coming up Aug 14, 2010 at Carlisle Golf Club. We are looking for hole sponsers and players.
